Nice Cook Chinese Buffet and Takeaway Restaurant — Restaurant in Christchurch

Last time I went I ordered a meal which I made sure had no pineapple in it as I'm allergic. There was pineapple and I couldn't eat it which 0bviously when you're hungry is a huge disappointment. Rang tonight and ordered a chicken dish and some chips. Made sure 3 time over the phone was chicken as it's the only meat I eat. I picked it up and stated i ordered the chicken dish over the phone. She said yes yes chicken here and I paid. Get home and try to open, without burning myself as was so much sauce was over flowing and burnt my hand and covered the whole inside of the bag . And the meat was BEEF!!! I have never been more sad in my whole life. Think it's ok. The kids eat beef. I'll have the rice. Barely any rice at all. It's just all sauce ... think... it's alright.. Last few times we have been normally getting a tray of mixed food, it hasn’t been all that great. It seems pretty busy but the foods not all that fresh. Sweet n sour pork- when you actually get some meat and not tonnes of vegetables the chunks are hard dry and yuck (like it’s been reheated) Honey chicken , is a bit the same. Best value for money that I have found in Christchurch. This outlet has been going for a very long time out in Kendal Avenue, Providing a snogesboard of dishes, Over the 25+ years that we have been going to Nice Cook, we have never once gone home unhappy or dissatisfied .
