The food was nice, but the service that was terrible came in 30mins before closing time and the two girls working did not seem impressed. the atmosphere after that started plummeting!! No smiles were exchanged and no welcome as we came in... We were just asked if we were going to order food and if so they were getting ready to close? yet there were a couple people in there eating meals. They proceeded to make our nachos but without asking just said it was takeaway only... after paying 62$ for three nachos they were about to miss half of what we had asked to go on them. So then had to stand there to make sure we were getting what we were paying for! As a hospo worker i haven't felt so unwieldy while ordering out! I have been living in New Zealand for a year and so far this is the most authentic Mexican food I have eaten. They have recurring specials almost every day of the week, so if you like one particular food item then you can make a point of visiting on a certain day of the week to get a good deal.

It's a small location that can easily become crowded which is why I've rated the location 4/5, but there is additional seating outside if the weather is favorable. The bathrooms have been spotless every time I have visited.

So just ordered the so called Macho Nachos! The Macho is supposed to mean extra meat. As I watched the young girl use the tongs like tweezers and proceed to apply the most pathetic amount of meat to the chip base, I questioned her on the fact that this is the Macho Nachos correct? “Yes” was the answer 😂. Should have left then. Took it home dug out the spoonful of meat and then weighed it….. 44grams!!!! What a joke.
