I had heard one positive review about this restaurant, but boy oh boy, that was wrong. Keeping in mind, they did order from the mains part of the menu, while my partner and I ordered from the sides/entrees. When we entered last night the music was pumping but the restaurant was devoid of customers eating. We ordered the dumplings for $16, a ginger beer $7, a lemonade with raspberry $7, garlic bread $10 and wedges for $16 I think. The ginger beer tasted either off or it has not been inverted to spread the flavour, the garlic bread was ok but the portion very small, the wedges were average, and the dumplings tasted just like the ones you buy at the supermarket for $10, just double the price for a third of the portion. I also found a hard piece of either grissle or bone in one of my dumplings. I have eaten many a dumplings but never found any hard pieces inside. You would assume for even a pub, that they would handmake their food. The dumplings were not handmade. The sauce served with the dumplings was not soy, not chilli oil, or a "Asian chilli oil" like the menu describes, but plain sweet and sour sauce, very heavy on the sweet. Sweet and sour sauce does not go with dumplings. I would not expect to pay that much for what we got. And the ambience of the restaurant did not match. The lighting was dark, the decorations on the walls were haphazard looking, and even though it's a pub, the music was hip hop rap, club music. Lots of profanities. I would not bring children here. It was not it. I regret ever coming here. We were thoroughly disappointed and will never...
Read moreThis review is base at a event that was held at this bar on the 21st April 23 .. It was a great night but the only thing that was spoiled was a male bartender that served my cousin. He had over charged her by $6 dollars I know your thinking $6 is not really something to complain about, but he had served us the same drinks that I ordered earlier and was charged $30. I had a Malibu and pineapple cocktail while the other cocktails were vodka and Redbull. I was charged $30 and my cousin was charge $36 and the drink that he had done for my cousin was two vodka and Redbull and my cocktail was just a glass full of pineapple juice. I tasted my drink and you straightaway that the drink was just a glass full of pineapple. I tasted it twice. I knew something was wrong when I took it back to the guy, because I had asked my cousin who had served her, she showed me the bartender, and so I told him, she had ordered two redbull with vodka and one Malibu with pineapple and that he had only served my cocktail with just pineapple juice.. well I told him to try my drink to see if I am wrong he totally ignored me and kept serving others. At this point. I found his attitude extremely rude, so I’d ask the other bartender, who’s name is Bella and told her the problem and to try the drink if I was wrong and she confirmed that it was just juice so I am grateful for her and making my night better than that guy that served my cousin .. so if ever ur in this bar and order drinks make sure it’s Bella that does ur order bcoz...
Read more3 of us went in for dinner on a Tuesday, upon entering didn't really know where to sit so went to the bar where the waitress was and she straight away just asked for all our I.ds, as I had a 17 year old with I showed her my license and said I was her care giver but she still just gave us a snobby look so I said we were actually there for dinner. Then the waitress just walked away to a table without another word to us. Was very unimpressed with the service the whole night. The garlic bread was way to hard with little to no garlic butter and the mains we got were all soggy and tasted like they had just been reheated. The lighting is a bit to dim and the music was very out of date and didn't go with the...
