The worst casino in NZ. I was playing a machine close to the main entrance of the casino were you are always fronted by staff security and was appalled, totally in disbelief as I heard one of the security staff boosting on how she had argued and obviously had a patrion removed from the casino. I get it its your job but to hear you going on about the incident was appalling and to think you took great pleasure in doing so. Three times I have visited the Hamilton Skycity Casino and on all three occasions I was approached about how long I had been their. First time yes we were there but as I am the sober driver for family who drink alcohol. We left went for dinner then returned later that evening. I was approached by an elderly foreign lady staff member about the duration of my being at the casino and gaming. She asked if I was chasing the jackpot. I said yes aren't we all. She then said you have been hear to long. At that time we had just walked in. I told her I was with family and I was their driver. The second time I walked in and after having a meal as soon as we arrived my niece and I decided to play the games. We had only been there for a couple of hours and again I was approached by Asian lady stating I had been there to long. She asked if I had taken a break or had a meal. I told her my neice and I had a meal as soon as we arrived. I don't live in Hamilton and travel to Hamilton to the casino but regretfully feel that three times visiting there has been disappointing because of staff thinking it's OK to harass loyal patrions. I have never been accousted by staff in any establishment until visiting the Hamilton Skycity Casino. I think your staff need to be reminded that bullying and gossiping is not acceptable because that's exactly how you treated myself. I have never had this problem at Auckland Skycity Casino the staff are always pleasant, helpful and welcoming. Maybe Hamilton Skycity Casino staff could benefit from training along side the Auckland...

I reached out to Skycity on the off chance we might be able to book a room for an event, I didn’t put much thought into it thinking it would be far too expensive for our budget

I was quickly proven wrong when they provided the break down of costs

We hired the Marble Room for a stag do this weekend just gone, big shout out to Lee , Margery & Ari who hosted drinks food and poker games for entertainment

The food platters served were amazing, delicious and well priced

The biggest shout out of all is to the VIP of the night who was one of our poker game hosts for the night; Leon

Leon quickly made us feel very comfortable and confident to play, he was an amazing teacher and dealer and within an hour we were all crying tears of laughter Cracking jokes and having a great time, he made the whole experience feel personable and blurred the line between employee and “one of the boys” we absolutely loved playing poker with him and did not want the night to end. The drive home into the early hours of the morning Leon was the focal point of conversation about how truly amazing he was and how he “made our night”

Tough guy, wedding man, Kevin and I agreed he’s invited to the wedding (Leon hit us up for an invite)
