I visited this place during my trip to Auckland, NZ for my honeymoon with my just married -wife. The first impression I was given when I walk through the door was warmly greeting staffs and nice and well-organized cozy interior that made the place worth spending that evening with my loved-one. The lady at the counter guided us to the table kindly and all other staffs were caring as well as attentive! We ordered Linguine Di Mare and Linguine con Gamberi since my wife and I always crave for fresh seafood pasta. We were a bit worried about the freshness of the seafood because we didn’t want our lifetime-trip ruined by any chance of food-poisoning. However, the very first taste of the pasta made all our worries disappear. The seafood as well as the pasta demonstrated a great freshness ever. Moreover, the portion of the food implied how well this business respect and treat their customers, ensuring their customers leave the restaurant with fully satisfied stomach with happy faces. Also this authentic restaurant has a wide variety of selection on the menu so anyone can bring their loved-ones anytime especially on a special occasion. Not only were the staff and the food friendly and kind, but one of the customers in the restaurant came to us and gave my wife a friendly words. Due Amici was an unforgettable memorable experience that I would remember for the rest of my life even if I go back to my home-country, Korea. I would strongly recommend this place to anybody in NZ! No regrets! Definitely go back if any chance given for me to visit Auckland...

Recently, I stumbled upon a hidden gem nestled in Whangaparāoa – a cozy spot called Due Amici. The atmosphere was modest, but the warmth of the staff and the incredible flavors made it a memorable dining experience.

We kicked off our meal with the creamy Burrata, setting the perfect tone for the evening. For our main course, we opted for the 500g prime rib eye fillet and pan-seared snapper. While both dishes were delicious, it was the rib eye fillet that stole the spotlight – perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, it’s now the gold standard for steak in New Zealand. I just had to give it a try, and boy, was it worth it! My partner and I couldn’t stop raving about it.

The portions were very generous, ensuring no one leaves with an empty stomach. And despite being full, we couldn’t resist indulging in dessert, which provided a delightful end to our meal. In summary, Due Amici is a culinary treasure worth discovering. From the hearty portions to the mouthwatering flavors, it’s an experience that’s definitely worth the journey.

I highly recommend paying them a visit – just make sure you...

Due Amici is a fantastic dining spot that truly captures the essence of authentic Italian cuisine. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere, with charming décor that transports you straight to Italy. The menu offers a delightful selection of traditional Italian dishes, from perfectly cooked pasta to mouthwatering wood-fired pizzas. Their homemade sauces are rich and flavorful, and the ingredients taste fresh and high-quality. The service at Due Amici is top-notch—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Whether you're there for a romantic dinner, a family gathering, or just a casual meal, the staff makes you feel right at home.

To top it all off, their dessert selection is a must-try. The Kinder torta is AMAZING 👏

Overall, Due Amici is a gem for Italian food lovers, offering great food, excellent service, and a cozy ambiance. Highly...

What can I say ... It was a busy Saturday night, the hand painted walls of italian backdrops, the warm welcoming environment, the beautiful smells coming from the kitchen ... Then the food .... wow! We had mussels to start, we got the large, we probably should have got the small between us for an entree. Probably 20 or so mussels, just delicious. Then i had the King Prawns and my partner one of the steak dishes. Steak cooked to perfection, and my prawns ginormous, with a fantastic salad, which i requested some bocconcini balls with, with a sauce tat wasn't too garlicy. It makes my want to drive back to Whangaparaoa just to have some more. Highly recommended, great food, not overpriced for the quality of what you get.
