Ordered takeaway at counter at 1825hrs (6.25pm) was not told of any wait time at this time. During that time a couple came into restaurant got seated, ordered food, ate food & left. I went to counter after 55 mins to ask where food wasâŚ.. still waiting on Naans, we are very busy. After 1 hour 15 mins as I write this I am still waiting. There has been no approach by staff & the restaurant inside is not exactly busy. After another visit to counter was told 5 more minutes. At present prior to tasting the food, this place would be lucky to receive a 1 out of 5 for service. Another customer order 35 mins after we ordered & received thereâs well before us. 10 minutes after being told 5 minutes we are still waiting. Back to counter to see where our food wasâŚ. just more excuses⌠when people have ordered well after & are getting their meals well before then you need to sort your system. Finally got order after 1 hour & 40 minutes. After talking to another customer waiting, they ordered by phone 10 mins after us & were told 45 mins, they were still waiting when we left. The food was ok, not worth waiting for that length of time for. The Naan definately wasnât fresh & was stodgie. To their credit, they did refund the $10 for 2 drinks we bought while waiting. Left with order at 20:05 (8.05pm) Just a note to owner/manager, just tell people the truth, let people know a wait time(a real one, not make believe), they will either accept...

Review:
Wow, wow, WOW! đđđđđ Where do I even begin? After a short hiatus, the beloved chef at Indian Village Manly is back, and let me tell you, the magic in the kitchen has been rekindled! The place just wasnât the same without him, and his return is a culinary comeback we needed so badly!
From the moment we walked in, the familiar aromas that had been missing hit me like a delightful spice-laden breeze. It felt like coming home. We dove straight into our favorites, and I was thrilled to discover that not only has the chef returned to form, but they've somehow managed to elevate the entire experience!
The Chennai Express and Butter Chicken is silkier, the spices in the Biryani more melodious, and the Naan? Simply celestial! Every bite was a reminder of what makes Indian Village Manly a jewel in the crown of local dining. Itâs clear that the chef hasnât just returnedâthey've evolved, bringing back those classic flavors but with new twists that tickle the palate like never before.
To all the food lovers out there, you owe it to yourselves to experience this renaissance. Whether you're a longtime fan or a newcomer curious about the buzz, Indian Village Manly is setting a whole new standard for what Indian cuisine can be. Donât just take my word for it; taste the mastery for yourself. Chef, weâre so glad youâre backâyour artistry is truly a feast for...

I live on a boat and, at the time if writing this, have the flu.
I ordered a meal a few days ago and was gobsmacked when the delivery guy (apparently the boss) refused to deliver the meal because the last 50 metres were over water )a very solid concrete pier that runs to each boat).
Ok. I handled that. Today )about 4 days later, still weak from flu, I phoned In an order, specifically mentioned the recent difficulty, and was told " No problem, we have girls delivering tonight".
I went ahead and placed my order. About 1 minute later I got a text from the boss, "Avi" to say that if I wasn't prepared to pick up my order, it was cancelled.
In case you missed it... I'm still stuck on my boat with...
