Maison Thai was a fantastic surprise—an awesome Thai restaurant that delivered on flavour and atmosphere! If you’re in the area and craving authentic Thai food, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

The food was honestly delicious. The curry was rich, creamy, and full of bold, traditional Thai spices. The Tom Yum soup had that perfect balance of tangy and spicy, and the sizzling plate was an absolute standout—hot, flavourful, and super satisfying. Every dish came out fresh and well-presented, and it’s clear the kitchen knows what they’re doing when it comes to Thai cuisine.

One of the things that made the experience even better was the atmosphere. The decor and vibe of the restaurant really did feel like a little slice of Thailand—warm, colourful, and inviting. It made the whole dining experience feel that much more authentic and memorable.

Service was another big tick—friendly, prompt, and attentive without being overbearing. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in, and the food came out in good time even though it was a busy evening.

The only minor downside was the rice portion. For the price, the serving size was surprisingly small—especially since rice is such a staple with Thai food. A bit more generosity there would’ve made the meal feel more complete. That said, everything else made up for it, and it wouldn’t stop me from coming back.

Overall, Maison Thai is a great spot for a flavour-packed, authentic Thai meal, with lovely service and a setting that transports you straight to Southeast Asia. I’d definitely return—and next time, maybe I’ll just order an extra...

A fantastic Thai restaurant!

The food is beautiful and the staff are amazing. You really get the Coastie vibes with these guys. Good people serving good food and treating the locals with reverence. Honestly, I don't know anyone who does not love these guys.

These guys go above and beyond with delivery too. Dining in is a very pleasant and warm experience. It is nice to feel the hubble of the restaurant, the warmth, and the smells of beautiful food as you enjoy a dine in experience.

They do not rob you with the amount of goodies they provide in the dishes. You get your money's worth. Especially in the Tom Yums!

Maison Thai is a great part of the coast. Glad to have...

Months ago, we went to the Maison Thai Restaurant a couple of times, food was good and staff were very friendly. Last month we rang and booked through their answering service, they didn't mention anything about closing on Tues, we went since we thought we booked and found out, we wasted 40mins' petrol. Yesterday we went again, different staff member, and they were very unfriendly, came and collect out plates without asking if we finished, no smile, final straw was we ordered salt and pepper squid.... ended up with anything but squid, no explanation nor apologies, sorry, we will not be coming back, VERY DISAPPOINTING PS If I could I would give you...

Pretty good thai on the Hibiscus Coast. Staff were nice and friendly and all of our three meals came out very fast. They were hot and tasted nice and fresh. There is ample parking in the evening in the area, both right outside the restaurant, across the road and also more spaces in the carpark underneath the building with safe internal access. The restaurant is quite big with lots of seating so you shouldn't be disappointed and miss out if you turn up without a booking. Would be good for large groups for this reason too.

Historically, we have always enjoyed the food at this restaurant, however, we have found recently that value for money and taste are severely lacking. We also found that the containers were only filled half full and for 24 and 21 dollars a meal (which did not include rice) this made the entire experience very disappointing. Additionally, there was only 7 small prawns and about 4-5 cashews and very little chicken in the other meal. Will not be ordering here again.
