Ferntinental Cafe — Restaurant in Hibiscus and Bays

The staff were really lovely, super friendly and always busy cleaning. It does need an industrial clean and the decor is dated. The food was overpriced and poor quality. Certainly nothing like it looks in the photos online. Not great veg options so just ordered fries, which they charged $9 for. The food was of very low quality and overpriced.The kids went in to bought two sausage rolls and a pie which came out cold, not cold but frozen. We took them back and let them heat them up, she put them directly in the microwave, making the pastry very soggy and the filling inside is too hot to eat.The staff was very arrogant and didn't say sorry during the whole process. She looked like she just wanted to quarrel. We hope that the management could pay attention to it otherwise we won't back again unless...

Great service, excellent coffee, and good food with huge portions. Lots of outdoor seating right next to the 18th green, pro shop, and practice greens. We had the burger (huge, double bulgogi beef patties and waffle fries) and 'the Kiwi' (lamb stew on toast with some kumara bits and a poached egg). The prices aren't cheap, but the quality and portion sizes more than make up for it in my opinion.

The only criticism I have of this place is the stupid name - "Ferntinental"?...
