The Waterfront — Restaurant in Hibiscus and Bays

Cane to the waterfront restaurant after following this place for a good while now. I was soo excited! We went for dinner, got a beautiful table outside watching the sun set over gulf harbor. The outside area was buzzing with excited people .we got asked promptly what we would like to drink, and the first round was there in no time, thats where it ended., we where enjoying the be the beautiful evening and then realized we had almost finished our drinks. As my partner gt up to get another round i was listening to the table next to us. And they where worried about their food order, so my partner decided he will order our dinnervat the same time, he cane back and informed me its a little shambolic in the kitchen. The menu looked so exciting, and i couldn't wait to try the food, we ordered the pot of mussels with a coconut curry sauce, and a rice dish with prawns and scallops it came about a hr after we had ordered, just the mussels. We devoured them as they where delicious and the curry sauce out of the world! Then about 30 mins later our other dish turned up, what a utter disappointment! It was very very average to say the least! Soo disappointing. Wehad also pre ordered a cocktail for our dessert wich they forgot, and when asked about it they said they stopped making cocktails as its too busy! What!? We reminded them that we had pre ordered it about a hr and half ago they agreed to make it for us then. When it got the bill, we complained about the terrible service and very average food, the manager? Looked very offended and almost angry, and they didn't even apologize. So disappointing we...

Was looking forward to having some cocktails in the sun after a long day, so me and the Husband decided we would try The Waterfront in Gulf Harbour. We both decided to get cocktails, and the husband ordered a beer whilst we were waiting for them to be made. As soon as we sat down we heard the table next to us complain to the waiter about the length of time they had been waiting for their drinks. Didnt think much of it until another table beside us complained 5 minutes later about their drinks that hadnt arrived yet. We still were waiting for the beer, so my husband got up and asked if he could have it now as it had already been 15 minutes. I then caught another waiter and asked where our cocktails were, he said he would be back. A different waiter then came out and asked what cocktails we had ordered... I then told her and she returned to the bar. Finally after a good 35/40minutes overall of waiting, we got our cocktails. They werent busy at all so not sure what the confusion was. It is a shame because we would love to...

We celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary at The Waterfront, Gulf Harbour, and it was absolutely perfect. We wanted something a bit different from our usual, and the whole experience exceeded expectations.

The food was incredible — I’m officially hooked on the duck hawker roll, and my husband’s new favourite dessert is the passionfruit cheesecake, which came out with a little heart on it 🩷 such a lovely touch!

The service was excellent — friendly, fast, and on point. Our meals were out within 20 minutes of arriving, and everything tasted fresh and full of flavour.

To top it off, they even took a Polaroid photo of us during dinner and gave it to us as a keepsake — such a thoughtful surprise that made the night feel extra special.
