Ben and team have done an amazing job with setting up in a beautiful location. Even with the tricky Level 2 restrictions the service was phenomenal and we were given a great run down of the tasting paddle. The food truck this was Manila Eats and it was a fantastic pairing with the tasting paddle. Great indoor outdoor flow and a very spacious bar. Would highly recommend to anyone who's a beer or a wine fan as they also a decent selection of wines in tap.

The manager Marie is so welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is great and the selection of craft beers and wines from around NZ is vast. Marie is happy to offer her opinion and a taste of whichever lagers or ales you want to try before you buy. A fab venue, great staff and a different food van each week to keep the menu's exciting. Would definitely recommend 👌 There is also a really nice terrace with a sea view which adds to the appeal

Great venue, great views, great drinks, great staff, great times. Of all the various Beer Spots I've been to, this was definitely the nicest looking inside and out. Great arrangement with the food trucks directly outside too. And, I'm happy to say that after thirty something years wondering how to play Backgammon, we finally looked up the rules and had multiple games before closing time.

Great arrangement with the food trucks directly outside too. This place is a joy to visit. It's been beautifully done up, great stone and wood floors and unparalleled views out over the coast. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. No blaring TV's but child (and dog!) friendly. Massive section of beers which rotates, and tasting sliders available. Small but fantastic selection of wine. Highly recommend the Oak Estate chardonnay which is, quite simply, the best Chard I have ever tasted; the Merlot is fantastic too.

There is a weekly food cart right outside, so something different to look forward to every week: buy your food, and come and eat in great surroundings with superb beer and wine. Even if you don't live on the coast it's worth making this a night out and taking a Uber. Tracey has an AMAZING memory for both faces and those faces tastes in drinks! Even though I don't get there as much I would like both her and Jack made me feel so welcome tonight, and went - as usual - above and beyond with the service.

If you live up this way this should be your local. If you don't then treat yourself - it's worth it!!

I should add that I have no connections with this bar. This my completely unbiased...

It is brilliant to come and chat with the staff (and owners) about a subject i'm passionate about - beer. The welcoming vibe you get when you are met and your taste preferences are personalised by experts, as well as the rare opportunity to engage with your friends in a bar without distraction (T.V's/pool etc) is a refreshing change. Highly recommend supporting local who support small breweries as this is why NZ beer is so unique and admired....
