Dunkin' Donuts — Restaurant in Howick

The taste of their donuts is average, nothing extraordinary. Occasionally, I visit on weekends to grab some donuts and coffee. What's interesting is that the Drive Thru line can get incredibly long. If there are two cars ahead of you, it's best to park and walk in; it's much faster. Despite having around 3 to 4 staff members, the service at the Drive Thru is surprisingly slow. Opting for in-store service is quicker than waiting in the Drive Thru. Even when there's no one in the store and only Drive Thru orders, the slowness remains a concern. On multiple occasions, I've waited for more than 30 minutes while unknowingly being in line behind three cars. This isn't a one-time occurrence; it's based on repeated experiences. Haven't ever bought Dunkin before but was told the Bavarian Creme ones were fabulous. Had lunch at Taco Bell across the way and decided I'd get something sweet for the road. Ordered and paid for 2 x Bavarian Creme and the girl still asked if she could put both in the same bag. Was halfway across Auckland when I opened the bag to find only 1 donut. Great business plan. Charge people twice and only deliver once. Get rich at twice the speed. Why didn't I think of that?...

we got to the line there was a family ordering they got there order when they sat down then we were up next. The worker then went to the drive thru and took their order gave there donuts. Then took the drive thru order again while we were still waiting in line. The worker prioritised the drive thru over the people who actually get out of there car and make the effort to get behind the counter like I get one inside order one outside but two drive thru orders come on...
