E Tea — Restaurant in Howick

All I can say is wow. I don’t know if it was just the staff on the 8/8/2020 at around 2:20-2:40 that had terrible attitude. I waited around 20mins for nothing. They took my order but never made it. Around 7-8 customers got their milk tea before me and that’s when I realised something was wrong. I had to ask if my milk tea was ready and they said yes and carried on talking and when they didn’t find my milk tea they came to ask for my order. I replied with my order and they started making it then, please realise this was 20mins after I had ordered it. I really had to leave because I had a class so I asked for a refund and they said are you sure we can make it really quickly. I replied no and they took longer to refund my money. I absolutely love coming here! The staff are always welcoming and friendly, and they make you feel like a valued regular even if it’s your first visit. everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious and really fresh. The pearls are perfectly chewy, and I especially recommend the brown sugar milk tea if you want something a little naughty. The shop is also clean and cozy, making it a nice spot to chill with friends. So glad to have this gem in the neighborhood....

After I went there every weeks for almost a year, it has changed a lot even before the lock down. The bubbles were uncooked for the last three time. Not to mention about the customer service level that has been decreased every times that we visited. Even we have lots of points left, we didn’t want to go there anymore.
