Hell Pizza Highland Park — Restaurant in Howick

I called up the day before their famous $13 double pizza (Halloween) day to ask about how busy it would be if we scheduled an order for lunch (in order to make an appt for our group later). Staff were helpful on the phone. On the day we got served quick when we went to pick up, and needless to say the pizzas looked and tasted fantastic. Extremely filling! The dough was nice and chewy with flavour, and sprinkled with what I think is semolina which gives it that extra flavour. The toppings were plentiful and were spread evenly. First and last experience. When I asked the lady on the phone if the small pizza was good enough for one person she said yes, I asked twice.

When I picked the pizzas up, I bursted into a big laughter. Where I came from, we give such a size for people to taste for free.

The lady at hiss pizza and the guy there, assuming he was the manager" insisted that the size was good enough for a person.

When I brought the pizzas to my daughter and her friend they had the fun of their lives thinking that I made it as a joke and brought a miniature pizza and that I might have a full size one hidden somewhere

Cut it short, never again. Tast is just ok, no value...

Pizza looked and smelled great, arrived on time, but it contained ingredients I requested to be left out. Received a voucher that couldn't be used and was unable to get a refund. Disappointing experience overall.
