TJ's Kitchen St Andrew Street — Restaurant in Invercargill City

All in all I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a good fish and chip experience.

I usually don't go to fish and chip shops, but the good reviews caught my eyes. Got the burger special as a combo, good serving of nicely cooked chips, burger was pretty darn good, didn't quite match the photos (burgers looked bigger in photos), but it looked great, was very filling and good value for money. Would come back to try more interesting burgers. Sauce was a bit small (would be nice to put the sauces on display so people see what size they get). Very generous serving of fries with the combo.

The most amazing service from the cook to the beautiful girl who served us.We ordered a Vegan Burger twice. Both times different patty (it depends what they have on the night) both were amazing but depends what your preference is ii guess?.different sauces so i was able to pick my own. Chips were really delish and a TJ salt which was really nice.As i will 100% be back again! will let you know what the rest is like. AAAAAA+++++++ from these things we ordered. By the way we spoke to other people on the night and they described the special burgers which changers every Thursday or Friday to be absolutely amazing.... So we will try each...

Unlike other takeaways, this place was quite lovely to get food from. From the pleasant simple interior and the nice service, I was very happy eating from here. The thing that stood out to me the most while I waited for my food was how clean the place is compared to your usual takeaway. Kitchen was clean and tidy and the air didn't have that familiar old grease feel to it. I was expecting fo get home and find my food to be soggy and gross but it was crisp and delicious.
