Chicking Glenfield — Restaurant in Kaipātiki

I really do need to review this place not to put the business down, but to let the owners and managers know that you need to do better, way , way better.

We only ordered the opening day special meal but waited 35mins for it.

5 people were waiting before us for at least 30mins as well. 2 boys only ordered chicken strips but poor them, waited about 35mins!!

Staff member apologised, informing everyone that only 3 staffs were working. However, the very poor service isn’t about the lack of staffs, it’s about lack of proper training.

Whoever manages this place, needs to do their job properly! Manage your staffs please. Provide proper training. Give them guidance and assistance.

Out of the 6 people waiting for their orders, 5 people got their orders wrong. It was whether incorrect item or items missing.

Take note, most of the food like the chicken are already cooked and ready to go. They just had to assemble the burger. But because staffs are not trained properly, it takes them 30minutes to do one order instead of 5 minutes.

Ok, let’s move on with the food. We got our fries, it was soft and cold. We seriously wanted to return it back but we already waited 35minutes and was so hungry we just ate it silently , with our heads downs moving right to left. Crunchy burger was not crunchy and no flavour at all. The only taste present is the mayo and tomato sauce. The best part of our meal, the cold mountain dew drink 😅

Unfortunately, Chicking is a big NO NO. Whether for service nor food wise.

I can see several people left similar poor reviews since Chicking Glenfield opened, but it seems like the Owners and Management don’t give a damn. Still very poor service and food as of today.

Took ages, i want to get the blockbuster deal but didnt even bother asking me whether i want the spicy one or regular one, the cashier just told me that i could only get half n half because she said that whats available rn is just those. Which is okay fine whatever, but then it took soo longg. Then i saw the girl just grab a fries and ate it (no gloves) not sure whether she washed her hands or not after that. Disgusting.
