10/12/2024, 10:50 AM Very rude and unprofessional behavior. I went to Coffee Club with my 11-month-old baby to have breakfast. I ordered smashed avocado and a Green Goddess smoothie for dine-in and requested a high chair.

The high chair I received had no safety straps, making it unsafe as the baby could easily climb out and fall. I checked for another high chair, but none of them had safety straps. Just 40 - 45 seconds after placing my order, I informed the staff that I couldn’t stay to eat because I couldn’t safely manage my baby without a proper high chair. I requested to cancel my sandwich order, as I hadn’t even received it yet, but the staff were incredibly rude.

They laughed and told me it was my problem, refusing to cancel the order because they claimed the chef had already started preparing it. Despite explaining my situation and asking for a partial refund, both the staff and the chef stood there laughing, insisting their high chairs were all like that, and said it wasn’t their issue.

I had a long to-do list that day, and Coffee Club was my first stop. Taking my order to go was not an option. I’ve visited many Coffee Clubs and other eateries with my baby and have always received proper high chairs and kind service.

Not Child-Friendly – Disappointing Experience

I came to this café hoping for a quick bite, especially since I had my baby with me. I specifically ordered a slice of cake from the cabinet, thinking it would be fast and easy for the staff to serve, especially since it didn’t require any heating or preparation. Unfortunately, I waited over 30 minutes and it still hadn’t arrived. By then, my baby was crying and getting tired, and the situation became really stressful. I had to ask for it to be packed to go while carrying my baby in a carrier, which made things even harder with no free hands. Overall, not a child-friendly experience – I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re out with a baby and need quick, simple service.

WARNING do not come to glenfield mall coffee club. Honestly disgusted with the customer service received from one of staff and in front of who looked like management to just stand back and watch their staff be so rude to customers. I had ordered two coffees which I had waited quite a while for. Staff did not bring it out to me. I had made a comment to my cousin (not even talking to the staff) that I don’t know how long the coffee had been sitting on the counter for as no one called out that it was ready a staff member then rudely replies that she had and starts arguing with me about it.
