There are restaurants you “like,” and then there’s Paasha, which, frankly, transcends the term. This isn’t takeout. This is divine intervention handed to you with a smile.
Let me be clear: I’ve never been disappointed here. Not once. Which is a statistical anomaly, especially in the world of delivery food where expectations are usually tempered with mild existential dread and lukewarm naan or fries. But not here.
At Paasha, the food is consistent in the way gravity is consistent. Every dish feels like it was prepared by celestial beings who have somehow mastered both the spice balance and the subtle art of emotional repair. One bite in and I start reconsidering all my life choices, including why I ever eat anywhere else.
The team? Saints. Genuinely warm, impossibly hospitable, and somehow always remember your name and your order, often better than you do. They don't just serve food; they serve a sense of belonging. It’s unnerving. Like returning to a parallel life you forgot you had.
I’m fully aware this sounds dramatic. It is. But so is the experience of opening a Paasha takeout bag and inhaling what I can only describe as the aroma of salvation.
If you’re thinking of trying somewhere else, ask yourself: Do I really want to live with that kind of regret?
Ten out of five stars. Michelin should just surrender and give them a...
Read moreNice food with a difference to Turkish takeaways that you rarely get these days. Something different to north shore. I would have to say it is a bit on the expensive side and you don't get much serving when you order. They are not generous with the amount you get, especially with meat and rice dishes. Yes the food is tasty though. The disappointment for me was, the dine in side of this takeaway restaurant. This place has gone all out to decorate their decor, giving the impression of a quality sit down dine in. My expectation was high and I was under the impression that the service and the food quality and presentation would be at a higher end, different to when you take away but was not. What you see is what you don't get!! There a few dishes that is different to takeout but It was more expensive and again food plated was small proportioned, at the end, food being just a take out quality. Now I am not a big girl nor do I eat like a pig but for the money you pay and the quality, it's not worth a sit down meal. Overall the food is definitely good, it's different and tasty. Only difference in food is ,what it's been served on. I would next time stick...
Read moreIt's not first time when we have an unpleasant experience with this restaurant. The communication with all the staff is so complicated, I don't really ubderstand how at every order something must be wrong. We are tired to spend money there and get wrong food every time. Today I asked specificakly for 2 wraps without beetroot and obviously came fully loaded with beetroot. And I just wanted to point this to the chef/ owner and he blamed me by saying I ordered withoit tabouleh, not without beetroot. Or he don't understand English or I don't really know, but in any decent place when a customer shows dissatisfaction any normal chef will applogise and try to solve the issue. Instead he blamed me for saying something which I definately didn't. And then he said he will make another one. I don't want another one, I wanted one to pay for it and enjoy it! But no luck. He just don't understand English and then he don't even aknowledge it may be his fault. We will never come back. I am very dissapointed with this place and the staff there. I just wasted 34$ for bad food which went into the rubbish bin. I work 1.5h for...
