Columbus Coffee — Restaurant in Kaipātiki

Hmmm, what happened! Special treat periodically over the years has been an early breakfast at Columbus Glenfield - always enjoyed - until today. Bank statement check reveals a steady increase for the same order over the last 3-4 months. I can tolerate small increases but when the first mouthful of French Brioche causes "Lacklustre" to pop into my head, my critique button is on high alert.

The barista continues to do an excellent job with an engaging smile but today's chef needs a prod. I was disappointed to see portion control in play - less fruit and two brioche slices that had barely seen an egg wash.

About 3 hours ago, I heard Leonie explain to a customer and she was Very apologetic that there would be a delay due to several orders ahead of him. Well I have never seen such disgusting and childish behaviour from a 50 something pathetic person, who gave airs of being above everyone. Throwing the paper down and slamming the door. Firstly i ordered a single shot black amerscano the recipe for all there coffees is proudly displayed on the wall but the come and Query my order, i explain same as on the wall so they bring me a long black after three different staff come and Query what i want they ask do i want a refund, my answer "no make a single shot as per that recipe, medium cup" finally i get my coffee. Then the chicken mex burrito is mostly rice absolute rubbish then of course thay let dogs inside the dining area, to bad if your alergic or dog hair...
