Fairway Events Centre — Attraction in Kaipātiki

I recently had the pleasure of hosting our Chinese Golf Super League's awards ceremony with 150 guests at the Fairway Events Centre in Auckland, and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. The venue's location is exceptionally convenient, offering abundant parking and situated perfectly adjacent to the golf course with easy motorway access.

Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the meticulous preparation of the event space. The staff had arranged everything beautifully before our guests began to arrive, creating an elegant atmosphere for our special evening. The dedicated team, including Tracy, Rachel, Melissa, and others, provided exemplary service throughout the event. Their attentiveness and willingness to assist were remarkable - they remained consistently available and promptly addressed any technical issues that arose during the ceremony.

The culinary experience was truly exceptional. Both the main courses and desserts received unanimous praise from our attendees, with the high-quality catering enhancing the overall celebration. The combination of outstanding food, professional service, and the perfect venue created an atmosphere where everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

My husband and I got married at Fairway Events Centre on 13.4.19.

The day was beautiful and turned out better then we ever expected.

We wanted someone close to home, on the North Shore, as our wedding was very family friendly with children of all ages invited.

Fairway was close to home, reasonably priced, child friendly and the staff were so easy going.

The space was perfect - beautiful scenery looking onto the Takapuna Golf Course. The venue had a bar, it catered for food, it had a dance floor, it provided sound equipment (we used our phones/spotify playlist and the microphone for speeches). We were concerned about food at first as we were bringing the Cook Islands and South Africa together - however, the food was AMAZING and there was plenty left overs to take home.

The staff were amazing - leading up to the day they were so relaxed and always available via email or phone call. There was no stress and the day turned out perfect.

The best part was they catered to our budget. With three different options we were able to go with the Silver package, which worked perfectly for our family and friends. Not to mention that they decorated the space with chair and table covers. We could choose how much we wanted on our bar tab, there was no pressure or anything.

Fairway Events Centre is such a beautiful venue inside and out. I contacted Melissa as soon as I found out about their venue and from emails to phone calls it was such a breeze to communicate with her. My event is scheduled for 2025 and although I technically do still have time, she really understood my concern for early preparations and prioritised getting me all the relevant info when needed. Unfortunately I had to cancel my booking after I had just paid the deposit due to my guest list turning out to be more than what I planned for and the venue could host. I emailed Melissa and James about my current situation and I received my refund within a few days without any hesitation. Fairway is pleasantly clean, tidy and spacious in every room. Although she is consistently occupied, Melissa is prompt in responding which I do appreciate as an event planner. Whether your event is urgent or some time away, she’ll prioritise you as much as she does for others. Loved my experience in planning with Melissa and her team! I hope to do so again, sometime soon.
