This was my first time being here, the atmosphere was okay and it was just a regular restaurant. It was clean and tidy. Im not too familiar with Korean food but I wasn't a big fan of the black bean noodle because there was an excessive amount of onion, alongside with various of our dishes. Im not too fussy but there was A LOT of onion, however that could just be how the meal was traditionally made, but I have had experience in other places with black bean noodles. I ordered the black bean noodle with vegetables and pork, so i did expect vegetables, not just a vegetable but thats fine. the pork was also relatively small portioned so I thought they initially got my order wrong. Generously portioned and the highlight being that it is served with some nacho chips in-between. This added an extra crunchy texture.
Overall this place takes on some amazing twists to traditional korean styled Chinese cuisine!
Also enjoyed the Corriander Jjajangmyun, the corriander look away some of the usual greasiness of this dish.
Also the sundae jjampong, had a generous at least 12 pieces inside, which is unheard of here in Auckland!

Read moreWalked in just before closing time. Staff was not nice, and kitchen asked "Korean or foreigner?" as I came in. After that I do not want to come anymore as I do not feel like race has anything to do with eating at a restaurant. I understand Korean as well so it felt very rude and unwelcoming. When there's a new restaurant, staff should be more nicer, and care about the appearance of the restaurant. If the kitchen closes earlier than 3 then maybe state it on Google so people don't waste...
