Good atmosphere, and the people seemed alright enough. Had a few games of pool (pool tables had a tear/ slightly out of level), while watching the Cowboys 🤠 semi-final, bowing out to the Eels. As I'd come back inside after a fiver, my Speights tall-neck (no craft beersies here) had disappeared, as well as MY Swannie🤬 (brown jacket, red lining) being seated over by the darts board! The BAR staff were around clearing away at this time. Upon being alerted, they were NOT helpful at all towards my plight👎. NOT ONE BIT!👎👎 As one would expect, won't be going back ANY time soon. As far as I remember, and stories from the rents I heard growing up, all the oldies and frequent locals who like to indulge in a cheeky beverage, two or more have always come to this pub. Great old school sort of vibe & not outdated. This pub clearly attracts a certain crowd and their daily/weekly locals who show face religiously. Some us younger gen are finally following in out rents and og's footsteps and embracing the pub and of course the classic gaming lounge...

Not an overly flash or hip bar, but food and drinks are reasonable. The place is clean and the restrooms are very clean. Plenty good pool tables which are free to play with a very cheap annual membership. A nice mix of old and new music and plenty big screen TV's to watch your favourite sporting games.
