Very very poor service my daughter ordered our meal through the drive in she ordered four different meals for her own order, then ordered myself & my sister order which was to be in separate bags. When we got our order 15 minutes later mine & my sister order was in the same bag!! My daughter order was all squashed into one bag!! We checked our orders which didn't look right so the girl took it back into c.j'z not sure what they done with it but a Indian guy came out with a attitude saying to us this is our orders!! We checked them again I told the guy no he needs to go sort them out properly cause we asked for the too be separated in the correct orders. The guy took our orders back in I then reversed my vehicle and parked so we can see what they were doing with our orders. The guy the bought it back out to us again this time in the correct orders. We all checked our orders again to find my order had burnt black chips in it & under full. By then I drove back through the drive in I showed the guy my black burnt chips, I z to him I wanted my chips cooked properly not Burnt. He goes we can't cook any more we turned off the deep fryer I z excuse me u just gave us our orders back a minute ago, then he goes we will have to wait for it to heat up again!! I z what ever the deep fryer won't be cold yous just finished using it!! Hello!! He then goes ok we will do it again after I told him I'm a qualified chef in which I don't like telling people things like that when I order from those places. I'm giving myself time out from cooking & want to go have something nice. Well our food wasn't nice the chips they cooked for us again was better than the last ones. If they did their job properly the first time they wouldn't have a bad feed back. I rate mangere C.J an 0 star unhappy customers......... Airport C.J'z is 10 times...
Read moreEDIT: Tried them again. Sunday afternoons is bad. There is someone working there who needs training. It's not okay to serve brown, old, stale chips. So stale they stink. Gross. Please do something about this. The cheese on the chili cheese fries is supposed to be melted, not cold and shredded. There's a quality issue. And I know from working in food service that serving food under temperature like that is also a safety issue. It should be hot enough for cheese to melt.
EDIT: Tried them again. I keep trying this place and it's hit or miss depending on who's working. There is definitely a problem with inconsistency and it seems there are untrained workers or workers who don't care how they are affecting the place. Quite often the food is gross, cold, and smashed. Once the burgers were so smashed and disfigured, I couldn't tell the difference between the smashed cheeseburger and the smashed cali classic, and the cali classic was not even a cali classic? Not sure what they were trying to make. Fries are cold and stale and def old.
EDIT: Trying again several months later, I've ordered the chilli cheese fries several times. During the day on weekdays, they are good. At times, they're pretty great. But at night and sunday afternoon, just don't order them. I keep trying to see if they've improved, but it just keeps getting worse and worse. The fries are overcooked and dark brown, but also soggy and slimy. I dunno how that even happens. Tonight they were cold on top of being brown, soggy, and slimy. And the texture was so bad, it was like they added spit or something. Maybe they did. But I got so grossed out I just couldn't eat it and I am cringing so hard right now.
I order food for my kids and I do not feel comfortable giving them anything from Carls Jr Mangere at this point in time.
Honestly, what is going...
Read moreWe were extremely disappointed with our recent experience at this establishment. The Veggie burger we ordered was excessively oily, with visible oil dripping from every side. When we brought this to the manager's attention, we were met with a dismissive response: 'You've almost finished it, and now you're complaining.'
When we asked if she could replace it, she sarcastically replied, 'But you've already finished it.' This was an appalling response, implying that we couldn't possibly have a legitimate concern after taking a few bites.
As customers, we expect to be able to provide feedback and receive satisfactory service. Unfortunately, this was our second poor experience at the same place, and we will not be returning.
We believe it's not too much to ask for a more empathetic and solution-oriented approach when handling customer complaints. A little understanding and a willingness to make things right would go a long way in building trust...
