26Oct16 This Mcdonalds outlet makes burgers, chips, drinks and other takeaways but the place is awful, disgusting and might even be hazardous to health.
For years this store has displayed contempt for customers - walk-in and drive-in alike - by failing to train staff properly and ignoring the positive reinforcements needed for staff to become self motivated and show their love of customers by serving them well in visible and invisible ways .. as well as small and large ways. Because the staff are not like this, above, they frequently leave the toilets and store floors dirty. Same with table and counter tops.
At any opening hour of the day you can sit for an hour in the store and see little or no cleaning activity by the staff. Serving staff DO NOT REGULARLY WASH THEIR HANDS. So bacteria in the open store area are carried around in that area as well as into the toilets and vice versa. Staff do minimal food debris clearing and packaging pickup around or from underneath the tables. Uuggh and yecchh come to mind.
The same compliance ethic operates in the staff serving the drive through. Earlier this year in the company of five cars ahead of me and two behind me I waited 15 minutes while the stalled queue stewed and suffered in silence. No explanation from the staff. When I got to the window the staff offered no explanation for the 15 minutes of no-go delay. I phoned the McDonald's HQ that night and left a voicemail complaint. To their credit someone phoned me the next day but I wasn't free to talk so they left a voicemail but by then I thought "What's the use?" So I didn't follow up.

The staff around the Auckland central and surrounding suburbs East, West, North and South. I have noted is mainly staffed by teenage and rhose in their twenties people who represent our now multicultural society. Being in the main of Indin, Asian and Polynesian descent. Where on many are pleasant enough in demeanor znd attitude paper to be lacking in some customer service skills for those who do not hzve English as z first language appear to have some difficulty in understanding our NZ accent nd more often then not don't get the order correctly. Also it appears that the there is lack of clear communication amongst staff members themselves. I would recommend to the owners that to ensure cosistancy in product delivery and costomer service that the service managers Mae sure that the staff is trained properly and supervised untill they have a clear and firm understanding of what customers expect and how to deliver the products on a consistent manner. McDonAlds has been and still s a popular option for many people. I said to him no, I want my refund and he says no with a Angry face, i was there waiting to get my refund for about 5minutes asking him if I can have my refund, then he came back with my money and gave it to me and he never apologise.
