Domino's Pizza Whanganui — Restaurant in Manawatū-Whanganui

Massively disappointed with Dominos Whanganui and will never order from this store again.

Driver never delivered our food, we waited 45mins and called the store to ask where it was. Lady on the phone said that the driver had left the store 30mins prior so she should be there soon.

We waited another 10 mins with no delivery so called the store back. Same lady answered and said that the driver had returned to the store and didn't have our pizzas with her. Driver said she had delivered them to our house and had sent us a text (which we never received). Driver couldn't remember anything about our house to prove she had delivered the food and we could hear her in the background arguing.

We were offered a $10 store credit and told that our pizzas would be remade and redelivered by a different driver. The lady also said that they had had previous complaints about this driver.

After another 30 mins of waiting and no sign of delivery driver we called the store again. Phone was answered by same lady and she apologised and said that our pizzas were waiting in store for a driver to be available and that she was sorry that they were really busy. She said it shouldn't be too much longer. We asked whether our food would be hot when it was finally delivered and she said that the food was on a heated plate so would be hot. We were told the original driver had magically remembered details about our house which didn't match our house at all. So either she didn't deliver it or delivered it to the wrong house.

Pizza arrived 15mins after that phone call and no surprises but it was COLD and UNDERCOOKED. They gave us two free desserts as an apology for the original stuff up.

At this point it had been 2 hours (on a Friday early afternoon so not even during a dinner rush) and all we had to show for it was cold and undercooked pizza and garlic bread. We called back up to complain and was offered store credit, we said we wouldn't be coming back and were then told a manager could give us a refund.

All in all a frustrating and upsetting experience with Dominos Whanganui and would caution anyone from ordering delivery from...

I always order from Dominos but today I was really disappointed with what happened. I ordered a Peperoni Pizza and a Drink. I watched the pizza tracker on the website and once it was finished being cooked, it sat in the store for about 20 minutes. Finally, after the pizza arrived, (arriving 10 minutes late) the delivery person put the pizza on my porch and just left without ringing the doorbell or knocking. Luckily, I was watching the tracker, so I knew it had arrived.

After I went to the door, I saw my pizza (my pizza was cold) but didn't see my drink, I was confused at first and just checked down the steps to see if maybe the drink had fallen over and rolled away but it didn't, there was no sight of my drink. I called Dominos to ask for my drink, but they didn't pick up and I ended up sitting on the phone for 10 minutes. I gave up and called again to which I actually got a response. It's been 40 minutes since they said they would send someone down to deliver my drink and it still hasn't arrived.

I should also state I only live about 10 minutes away from the store.

This is absolutely disgraceful; you guys should be working on getting peoples orders right.

Now I already know what some people will say about my pizza sitting in the store for about 20 minutes, it's because they didn't have anyone to deliver it. Now if that's the case then you should hire more people since you are...

I have ordered 2 pizzas on 1st of may at around 9.30 and it was looks like pizza base and cheese the ingredients on the pizza was very little not more than 4 pepperoni and too much jalapeños and with the chickenpizza not more than 5 pieces of chicken on the pizza. I think better you advertise dominos sell only pizzabase with cheese. Very pathetic pizza with ingredients, do not cheat the customers… I always been a good customer with dominos and I hardly go to any other pizza store .
