My go to every morning when I finish at the gym around 6am.

I'm always welcomed with smiles, positive vibes, amazing staff and of course a large mocchacino to start my day.

I think Ive tried everything on the menu and the food is always on point. My faves the bacon and egg ciabatta and the hot beef rolls.

Drove through town hungry looking for food and coffee. Being the end of the day, they had just about sold out of all their tasty food. It was obvious they were about to close. However the manaakitanga (hospitality) was outstanding, they made me a fresh sandwich. Who does that these days? Most places just turn you away. The Trunk FM Coffeehouse is what I would call true Aotearoa hospitality. I felt welcomed and appreciated for being there, the staff were super friendly (again a lot of cafes lack that these days) I will most definitely go back. Very friendly staff, seemed to know their regulars as they immediately sniffed me out as not a local. the coffee itself was quite well made with the milk being well foamed and the espresso wasn't particularly sour or bitter and I feel is being mostly held back by the bean, they accidentally put me in for a large however so I couldn't taste it that well, although that is partly my fault.

Will definitely come back again on the way to Auckland however. Hard to find good...
