Two Locals — Restaurant in Manawatū-Whanganui

Odd that when we searched for best breakfasts in Feilding, Two Locals didn’t come up in the results. Odd because this breakfast was one of the best I’ve had out in quite a while. The three people (including the two proprietors/“locals”) keeping everything running smoothly, despite a capacity crowd, couldn’t have been nicer and welcoming.

And the food produced by their really small kitchen is down-home delicious. Omelettes (mushrooms , brie and ham were my choices, but you can make your own) and smashed avo with bacon were so fresh and flavorful that I was as happy as I could be. Locals know about Two Locals, and I hope more out of towners learn about them, too!

This is a cosy little place punching well above its weight in a marvellous way. The staff are friendly, the food is made with love and it's perfect. We had the stack (with an added sausage), smashed avo, berry smoothie and coffee. All were fantastic, with great flavours and presentation. On par with the best breakfasts anywhere (e.g. Melbourne). Would recommend and happily come here again. They have a variety of drinks, sandwiches, pastries as well...

Feilding is so lucky to have Two Locals. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and genuine, friendly customer service. We had the most delicious eggs Benedict and perfectly made coffees. Picked up a couple of custard squares with chocolate icing to go. So impressed I picked up a gift voucher for my Mum...
