Patiala Rocks — Restaurant in Manurewa

I was very excited to visit this place as saw so many videos on Tik Tok.. I forced my brother to come along and try , but I was embarrassed by my decision... Food was all cold , no refills were done properly, my brother had a bite of chicken lollypop and it was all raw we showed to the person they threw in bin didn't even say a simple sorry and we didn't even get chance to take photo and further action was taken , there was no piece of chicken in biryani and butter chicken, no piece of lamb in lamb curry ,we informed them and waited for more than 10 mins ,nobody refilled.. Vegetarian options were tasty but very very cold... In the end we just got up and came back ... Never had such a bad experience in buffet.... We support small businesses but they also need to understand it's their responsibility to feed us good and quality food if we are spending hard earned money on them... I am very disappointed quality of service and food.. Not recommending anyone...

I ordered food from Patiala Rocks on 18th May 2025 , Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken 65, and Naan. The flavors were beyond my expectations absolutely delicious! I enjoyed it so much that I visited again on 25th May. This time, I tried the Biryani, Goat Curry, Garlic Naan, and some drinks. Once again, the food was outstanding ! rich, authentic, and unforgettable.

The atmosphere at Patiala Rocks is warm and welcoming. The staff and the owner were incredibly friendly, helpful, and supportive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It’s a perfect place not just for great food but also for great vibes.

Free parking is an added bonus, and the pricing is very reasonable for the quality you get. I'm officially a big fan now! Thank you, Patiala Rocks, for such a wonderful experience I’ll definitely be...

We had a dinner today. We took our Singapore friends to this restaurant to taste the traditional food of India. Unfortunately the chicken Manchurian was awful. The gravey tasted horrible. The fish we ordered was so dry. The lamb biryani was like sticky and salty rice. It was horrible. Me and my family was so embarrassed in front of our Singapore friends. They were tasting those dishes for the first time and we said this is not the real Indian taste. We won’t go again. Will not recommend to anyone. My family didn’t complain and eat the food without saying a word to staff cause we had guests and didn’t wanted them to feel uncomfortable. We paid the full bill. I am so disappointed and wasted our money in this restaurant. They even surcharge for being public holiday. I regret so much choosing...
