INTO Bar & Eatery — Restaurant in Masterton

Went here the other day with my partner just for a quick dinner before we went to see a movie. My partner was quite cautious because it’s a new place with minimal reviews and typically when you see a place specialise in two types of cuisines you question it. However, the food was delicious and the host was so lovely. He made some lighthearted jokes with us and was polite and patient. I had the butter chicken and it was some of the best curry I have ever had. It was sweet and the chicken was very juicy and tender. I would definitely come back here and I definitely recommend if you like Indian and Mexican food. I will say the Mexican food we got (enchiladas and guacamole) was quite spicy so if you enjoy spice you’d enjoy their Mexican. I also got a martini and it was definitely the perfect money to alcohol ratio. The food came out as quick as we ordered it as a bonus so we were only there 45 minutes max! We had a wonderful dining experience at INTO Bar & Eatery!

Here’s what we ordered and how we felt:

Orange Juice – Fresh and refreshing. A solid 2 out of 5 (just kidding, but it was good!).

Devil’s Day Off – Oh my God, absolutely marvelous! The blend of lime, mint, mango puree, grenadine, Bacardi, and soda is a true masterpiece. 5/5.

Lamb Rack – Hoymoly! Perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. 5/5.

Chicken Tikka – Delicious and satisfying. 4/5.

Chicken Biryani – Tasty and aromatic. As a South Indian, I personally prefer it spicier with fried chicken, but hats off to the chef. 3.5/5.

Garlic Naan – Ummmmaa! Just fabulous. Soft, warm, and full of flavor.

The ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant were spot-on—cozy, welcoming, and perfect for a nice evening out.

A very special thanks to Sherly, who welcomed us with a warm smile and served us with so much care and joy. She truly made us feel at home and elevated our entire dining experience.

Food was delicious and the service was nice enough. (We got takeaway) but the portions were tiny! I got the platter for 2 because i was planning on taking leftovers to work tomorrow for lunch but, it legit was like a taster box/starter. (Photo below) My partner got the chicken quesadilla and it was pretty decent sized and yum as. We also go the loaded fries which again were delicious but the portion once again let it down. (Photo below) All up we spent $92 for two of us and although the food tasted good. We wouldn't do it again in a hurry.

(Edit) The loaded fries are $15 The platter for 2 is $39.50 And the quesadilla is $25 If brought direct from the store according to their menu.
