Queen's Kebabs — Restaurant in Maungakiekie-Tāmaki

I work in Panmure, love kebabs and Queens kebabs really do it for me. I order mostly via Uber eats but today was my first visit in person. Beautiful establishment. Lovely furniture for those dining in and I was captured by the ceiling and wall ornaments. The food was amazing. I almost always get the mixed kebab with yogurt and BBQ sauce. Nice assortment of vege adding to the abundance of color and texture. Highly recommend to all to dine in. Staff are lovely, keen to chat and offer great customer service. I felt at ease and comfortable whilst waiting for my order. Stopped by for dinner. Their menu is similar to other kebab places but they have specialties like moussaka. Looks like they mostly do takeaways but they also have some tables inside for waiting on takeaways or for dining in. I had the moussaka for eating in. The plate was fairly big. It came with rice and salad. The moussaka was quite tasty, I could get potatoes but not the eggplant. You could also choose which sauces you wanted on top. I also tried their baklava. I thought it was nice but a bit dry, so the but on top were falling off a bit. It is quite a nice place for a quick bite. Wasn't too bad for a first visit; neither negative nor necessarily dazzling but that was expected. Menu is quite expansive w text so can be a bit overwhelming. Similarly I'm normally used to customising my kebab w the salad I want, but it was just brought out to me w the standard servings.
