Under New Management – Restored to Past Glory!!!!

Was amazing ages ago but gone downhill last few years. Decided to try again and found out it’s under new management.

New extended menu with more ethnic Thai dishes. Large portions for an upmarket restaurant. Friendly and Attentive customer service. Relaxed home-like atmosphere. Very spacious restaurant – great for large work parties, banquets and gatherings. Interior decorations and framed pictures provide a great immersive experience.

Highlight is the Pla Rad Prik (Deep Fried Whole Snapper with vegetables and Thai Sweet Chilli Sauce), Pad Thai Goong (Prawn Pad Thai), Duck Kata (Roasted Duck cooked in spices, grapes, pineapple and vegetables served on a sizzling hot plate)

Amazing Dessert Menu includes the ever popular Thai Tea with its own unique beautiful dark orange color and smoky-creamy taste.

Love the little Thai Archer statue at the counter.

Exceeded my expectations. Wish I could rate 6 out of 5.

Edit: Yummy new sets: Larb and Deep...

I ordered the Tom Yum soup. A simple act, one might think. Soup. Broth. Some herbs. Perhaps a polite prawn. No. What arrived was less a dish and more a liquid hallucination.

It began politely — citrusy, aromatic, welcoming. Then came the spice. Not "hot" per se, but the kind of heat that suggests the chef once made a deal with a small, vengeful dragon. My sinuses opened like a motorway toll gate at rush hour. I saw colours that haven’t been invented yet.

Enter: Chang beer. The noble Thai lager. I clutched it like a life raft made of barley and logic. It was cold. It was crisp. It made eye contact with my soul and whispered, “You’re not ready, but I’ll help.”

The chicken skewers? Yes, there were chicken skewers. I believe they were delicious, but the soup had by then taken me on a personal journey through time and minor spiritual rebirth.

I left changed. Not necessarily for the better, but...

Haven't seen such poor service and attitude in a while. Have been there a few times and the service has been deteriorating. Food is poor but the attitude is unbelievable. Extremely rude and disrespectful. When we complained about service levels the response was appalling. Seemed that all they wanted was us to pay and leave. Could barely wait for us to finish our meal. Would give them zero stars if I could. Not recommended unless people want to get totally insulted. Waste of money but more so time. Should have not spent so much money here with staff making faces. Wish I had read the reviews before going !

The food was average nothing great, but the prices were somewhat high. around $28 for a meal and $4 for rice. When I requested chili powder, I was charged $2, which seemed excessive. The service was average; the staff member at the counter appeared more focused on handling numerous phone orders rather than attending to the customers who are dining in. The staff do not use serving trays so i saw servers thumb dipping in the sauce. Plus the chairs are very cheap and uncomfortable.
