Jellicoe Public Park — Attraction in Maungakiekie-Tāmaki

Jellicoe Pools....sheez, still, packs a crowd, families, mates, and Summer's, favourite, physical activity, while here..... "Bombing"😂....oh, and of course, the old adage of "Them Mars,🕺checking out them Venuses" and them "Venuses💃eyeballing @them Mars"(ahhhhhh...the mem-o-ries)😂 Ok, back to review......Jellicoe staff, are primo....that's front desk, friendly, helpful, and them, Lifesavers Crew, trying their best, watching over all, who enjoying the water.😉

There are bbq pits, inside pool, spa, gym, main outside pool, diving pool...shud rename to Bombing arena, cause seriously, divers are rarely spotted lol....5 and over pool, and lastly, nga pepe, pool. Nada, foodshop👎 ♿🤙 Entry, free to 16yrs under, not sure bout the rest of ya. Outside pools close 6pm.....I KNOW...."crazy, just, crazy"...its ☀️, for, fork-sakes. Extra sunshade, sails, wouldn't go astray either....not, every1, own an ☔☔☂️, brother!

Been coming here since, my teens, now, our teens, hang out here....besides the gym, nothing much has...

Outside needs stay clean...too many leaving bottles against the gym wall...

Wen pool paying to swim in the children.....bit hard for lots children jus want to play as their mum dad's taking break..and can't pay to Swim..

The trainers try giving some space for children to play but....I saw lots take theirs home. Remember b4 to 1pm they have Training...after wlm okay free for children

After 4pm is more traing..

Very nice and large park in the busy Onehunga area. The flora are well maintained and the walkways are nicely curated. The location is easily accessible and ample parking is available on the streets. Public toilets are available and are nicely maintained. A large sized fountain is also installed in here. A decent sized children's play area is there, which attracts a lot of kids. Proximity to the Onehunga pools is an added advantage. Well...
