Trafalgar House — Hotel in Maungakiekie-Tāmaki

Located just off the motorway, this lovely abode has been known for a plethora of highly sought after events. One that I went to recently involved a mooovie screening where they served popcorn on platters with only the finest NZ chocolates. While watching the movie, to my surprise, smoke started billowing out from behind the screen. Is it a fire? No, we have special effects! I felt like I was in Disney World on one of those multi sensory rides, but I didn't have to wait in line for 2 hours, win! What a beautiful historical site to enjoy a cup of tea. The film festivals seem to have started again, by private invite only so very exclusive. It seems to have a family focus some weeks. I was not pleased to see the plants in such a dire state of thirst.
