An unfortunate end to our evening. When the drinks arrived to the table, I decided to try my partners pineapple and ginger infused tequila cocktail. It tasted interesting and delicious. Then I tried my sangria and I was very surprised because it was one of the worst sangrias that I’ve ever tasted! I asked for more fruit juice to be added to it in the hopes that would make it better. The waitress seemed confused and came back with the bottle that it originally came from and I was shocked that it wasn’t homemade (especially since it was a similar price to the homemade tequila cocktail and also because it’s so easy to make). At this point, I asked if I could have something else instead of the sangria and asked for the pineapple tequila cocktail. Upon leaving, we were very disappointed that we were charged for the sangria and the girl at the till said we could call the owner to speak with her about it. I would have preferred to talk to her at that time, but unfortunately she was going to just write down her phone number. Disappointing for sure and we won’t be recommending or returning due to how this situation...
Read moreAlessandro’s is hands-down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in ages. From the moment you walk in, the warm, inviting atmosphere makes you feel like family. The service is outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve.
But let’s talk about the real star of the show: the calzone. I’ve had calzones before, but nothing compares to the one at Alessandro’s. It’s a golden, perfectly baked masterpiece—crispy on the outside, warm and pillowy inside, with a generous filling of rich, gooey cheese, savory meats, and the freshest vegetables. Every bite is bursting with flavour.
If you’re even thinking about ordering something else, trust me: get the calzone. It’s not just food—it’s a work of art. I’d come back to Alessandro’s for that calzone alone, but the rest of the menu is also incredible.
A must-visit for any Italian food lover. Five stars all the way!

Read moreMy husband and I went to dine during quite a busy period and once we heard the wait time (which we otherwise would have been fine with) we thought we wouldn't have time to have dinner there as we were heading to a show afterwards. However, the staff noted down the time we had to be away by and made it in record time. 😊 We were so well looked after even though all the staff must have had so much to do. We had a lovely meal. And even sitting outside, (which in most places I struggle with because usually even if you're by a heater it just means you're too hot on one side and still cold on the other side), between Allesandro's heaters and their awnings, it was a very comfortable temperature. It was actually really nice sitting outside! There was music playing as well, loud enough to be enjoyed and not so loud as to be intrusive. We'll...
