Cobe Coffee — Restaurant in North Island

Maybe I'm spoilt for choice usually with Vietnamese food but I as I was up in Whangarei I decided to go to Cobe Coffee.

Price - reasonable

Bubble tea - Mango: Not standard bubble tea. Pearls were soft, to soft not my favourite. And the flavour was meh with ? Cream cheese on the top.

Noodle salad - so the picture on the menu looked awesome! Spring roll and filled with bright veges looked great. Reality: a whole lot of lettuce. Couple bits of meat and noodles. Says coriander - nothing. Got a whole lot of mint leaves. Sauce was good but other then that. Bland.

Pho Soup - Broth was so bland.. a whole lot of noodles and nothing else. Did not finish it.

Thinking the price was great but not when it was bland and not like the photos at...

I asked for black tea, honey and BLACK pearls and she gave me an orange tea with white pearls (that were way too soft) with cream on top. I went back to check if there was any confusion and she said that if I dont ask for any flavour she puts "orange" flavour in and she didnt mention anything about the wrong pearls funny enough. She didnt want to give me a refund which was fine because I did take a couple of sips but I asked if she could remake it or just a different drink as it was definitely not what I was expecting, her response was that "you didnt like that one how am I going to know if you like the next drink" well its not the drink that I ordered so that shouldve been obvious.Waste of $6 and...

The lady who served me was possibly the owner/operator was professional, friendly and approachable. This being my first time here. I ordered the pork bread roll. $6.50 for a short Baggett roll with slices of thin dry roast pork meat. Old 3/4sliced rings of onion. 6/7 pieces of julienned carrot. Small amount of mayo..My choice to not include coriander in this bun. I was not satisfied with the quality. (Went back to share my experience of her product, she was professional and accepted the criticism) The traditional bubble milk tea was fantastic. $6.00 price was ok. However the mango bubble milk tea...not pleasent. And not a milk tea. Both were not...
