I have to say that the food in the cabinet looked very appealing with a wide selection. The sausage roll with fennel appealed as I am very fond of fennel. Unfortunately the sausage roll was disappointing, the sausage being dry and lacked seasoning. Pork needs a good amount of pork fat, and can take a generous amount of pepper to make a juicy sausage. This Cafe is always worth visiting. I don't think there is a better, fresher cabinet selection of food in Thames. Coffee is consistently good, service is quick, food and coffee arrive at the same time. The quality of food, coffee and service has not diminished over the couple of years(?) that Hi Stranger...
