I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the dining experience at your establishment. Unfortunately, the meal did not meet the expectations usually associated with a restaurant of your reputation.Firstly, the rice served was cold and seemed stale, as if it had been cooked earlier and reheated multiple times. This was evident even after it was heated again upon request. Such a basic element of the meal being overlooked is quite concerning.Secondly, the two curries ordered, mutton and fish, were disappointingly similar in taste and presentation. Both appeared to be served in the same gravy and sauce, which lacked distinctiveness and flavor. Additionally, the portions of fish and meat in the curries were scant, not aligning with the standard quantities one would expect.Furthermore, the service was less than satisfactory. The waitress brought the bill prematurely, before we had finished our meal. This felt rushed and detracted from our dining experience.Lastly, when considering the quality of the food and service, the price point seemed unjustifiably high, especially in comparison to other Indian restaurants.We left feeling very unsatisfied with the overall experience. Had a bad experience with this restaurant in the evening last Saturday. Staffs were rude, especially the lady in the front desk. When we arrived, they asked us to wait for 10 minutes for cleaning and 30 to 40 minutes for serving the food. We agreed, and they started clearing the table at the porch section. All of a sudden other five people showed up, and they accommodated them to that table instead of us!!. Without saying anything, they accommodated us to a table that was empty when we arrived at the restaurant. That table was uncleaned (there was food on the floor), and when we asked them to clean it properly, they seemed pretty reluctant to do that. It was frustrating, and when we were leaving, they did not have the courtesy to apologize for their behaviour. I think they treated us based on our race because I saw them treating a local couple politely and respectfully with a smile. I even called them asking for the owner’s number to report this issue, and it seems to me that they did not care about my concern. We went to two other restaurants (both of them were Indian restaurants) in Taupo during our stay, and they treated us like a king!!!! Sorry to say but need to improve...

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5-Star from the Taupo Curry Club, faithfulls!! So, we rocked up to India Delights last night, Told the chef, “Mate, throw us some spice, we’ll be right.” Starters came out like a smoky meat show— Tikkas, kebabs, and prawns that stole the whole show.

Now, let’s talk about those prawns, aye? Proper lush. Crispy on the outside, inside a soft rush. Kinda batter you dream of—had us all shook, Best prawns we’ve tasted, just get them, no fluke.

Then came the curries, each one full of heat, The goat was the winner, an absolute treat. Saucy, tender, hot as sin, With a flavour punch that gets right in.

But oh, the spice, it didn’t muck around, By dessert we were sweating like hounds on the ground. Tomorrow’s ring sting? Well, we won’t mince words, We’ll need an ice bath for those spicy turds.

Service? Top-notch, proper Kiwi cheer, Keeping us fed, kept us stacked up with beer. They even cracked a window for our cheeky vape, A solid team, didn’t miss a scrape.
