KFC Hawera — Restaurant in North Island

Recently went to KFC HAWERA through drive through and waited about 10minutes to be served through the intercom but I ordered a double downer meal, double downer on its own and a slider with BBQ sauce. Also a separate order of a 3piece quarter pack. When we got to the window they said they had no sliders so I had asked for a wrap. I paid for it they then said they couldn't do it then said they could. It was very confusing, I was also given a can for a drink ! I was unaware they didn't have a drink machine until i read the recent reviews. You need to have a sign up or verbally inform your customers your serving them cans and not cups as I was expecting what I paid for. Their was a sign to say about the shortage of lettuce so you can do the same with the cans its very misleading and I felt ripped off. Food was OK but I'd give it another chance if I was to come back but not in a hurry too....

4.35 pm. Tables were dirty. Service was extremely slow, only one man was infront of us waiting. eventually got served, received meal. Asked for a cloth to wipe down our table. Shop assistant said to me "she will just do this last order 1st." While I was waiting, our meal was going cold. I complained, Eventually Was handed a bone dry cloth from another staff member that was doing the drive through. "HAD to ask for disinfectant to be sprayed onto the cloth. Had to go up AGAIN!, to ask for spoons to eat potatoe & Gravey with. Shop assistant came out, wiped down the rest of the tables & swept the floor. Through all this, I was given twisted Jandal looks from front line staff. Wow! WHATS THE STAFF'S PROBLEM! Gone are the days of good old fashioned kiwi customer service! As a team, you women were dropping the ball too often & lost your game! Much more training is...

NEVER, NEVER, EVER will we purchase from KFC Establishment in Hawera again!!!!. Here is why:

*The chicken tasted dry, old and reheated. *The SUPPOSEDLY coating of the chicken was extremely soggy and drenched in oil. *The taste of the coating was disgusting. *The smell of the chicken tasted oily, unfiltered and unclean. The look of the coating looked more like saggy skin than what KFC should look and really taste *And never on time when you are having to wait another half an hour when you have hungry mouths to feed!!.

There are more NEGATIVES than positives from this Place and should be seriously monitored, assessed, and properly managed if KFC wants to promote great food presentations, food preparations, food promptness, and overall CUSTOMER satisfactory experiences. If you don't like criticism KFC do something about this or SHUT YOUR DOORS...
