Maranui Surf Life Saving Club — Restaurant in North Island

We turned up on a busy Saturday and they were able to accommodate us with a great window seat view. They forgot us at first, and they ended up giving our food order to the wrong table. But they more than made up for it! We got apologies from various staff, we were provided free drinks, and the meal was delicious! One staff even went and pulled a plastic kids toy we saw on the beach and pointed out, just for their planet consciousness! 5 stars team, you owned your mistake and went above...

Gone here 3 times since moving to Wellington. The beautiful interior design and Oceanside view make a wonderful environment. The prices are reasonable, and the coffee is good. The place is so great that it seems to be eternally slammed with customers. For this reason getting a table and getting food after ordering can take some time. So if you want to go to one of the coolest cafe's in the area and don't mind a bit of a wait, this...

The 16 years I have lived in NZ this has always been my favourite destination when heading to the city! Today just flown in from CChurch....a little disappointed 🤔 Coffee still great, food great, service not so much sadly! This was an aspect of Maranui which has always been spot on in my experience.....something to be proud of... Seems to be lacking in this area now... Need to head elsewhere for a 2nd...
