The main Supervisors, one in Particular was Very Rude and Looking Down @ me. I and my Best would go in Once a Week to have a Lovely Lunch of KFC, and I Noticed (In Gisborne They've Always Made the "Chips" Too Salty, I Don't Know if it's an Anti-Health Thing, (To Keep Our Locals in Poor Health), Yet Addicted to Eating Alot of Pies, Fizzles, and Very Salty CHIPS (like your Eating Salt on it's Own-without the Spud). Well Anyways, I'm 54yrs Old Now, and I was Getting SICK of Gisborne KFCs Salty Chips.. Usually the Staff, do Their Best, to Lessen the Salt on my Chips ( One Time, They 'Replaced my Small Salty Chips, with 2 Large ones...YUM.... BUT Then about a 6 Weeks later I was Starting to 'Regret' going Their for Lunch, cos the Chips were getting so 'Sickening'.... So instead of Changing my Eating Venue...I Rang them up, having just Bought one.
Well, a SUPERVISOR, Or Manager who I Told, More or Less "Who are you to Complain about Us making Salty Chips!??..No one Else, Has Complained about Them.
I kinda Begged her, as a Health Suggesion, That They 'Lessen' the Amount of Salt on Their CHIPS (I mentioned that No where Else in NEW ZEALAND, Wherever I've Eaten KFC, have Ever made Their Chips This SALTY. She got Salty toward me herself, and Told me, I'm the Only One... And just go Online and make a Formal Complaint on the KFC Sight (Not even Gisborne).. I Don't THINK They Have one (I wonder WHY) Maybe They'll get Those 'Thousand' Complaints, to just my One... By the Way, as I said... It was Only a Friendly LOCAL Suggestion

Read moreSaying goodbye to Gisborne McDonald's is like bidding farewell to an old friend who's been there through thick and thin, or perhaps "thick and extra thick," in my case. As I embark on a diet journey to shed those extra pounds, I can't help but reflect on the delightful memories this place has given me. I will miss my cheeky maccas runs and my go to 10pc chicken nugget combo. I will never forget the people here. The time a random old lady who, after a chilly DanceFit concert, gave me her jacket like a guardian angel. The time an old man who shared a Monopoly ticket from his coffee, turning a casual beverage into an unexpected treasure hunt. And who could overlook the stoner who was a regular, always ordering the blackcurrant juice? And speaking of memorable visits, there was that time a brave soul ordered a custom gourmet burger with no buns and an astonishing 14 patties that took over the entire table. A true legend in the world of fast food. Let's not leave out the incident when they "forgot" my Quarter Pounder, made my day. And then, there were the countless hungover or tipsy nights when Gisborne McDonald's became my confidant and savior. The golden arches had a miraculous way of pulling me in. It’s been so hard throughout the 30 days 30 deals in november. I love...
Read moreThere was plenty staff on tonight Thursday the 8 Feb however they were so lost no leadership at all got loads of orders mixed up I waited half hour for 3 drinks and a happy meal. The staff were so lost they were opening up the burgers from the wrappers to check what burgers they were if it wasn't the burger they were looking for they would just stand there and wait for it without moving to the next order. At 1 stage there was 4 staff standing there waiting for the burger they wanted to finish an order. I eventually went up and asked where my order was and the lady said its not ready yet. She then came back up to me and asked if I would like to change my order. Why? So I can wait another half an hour. Got out to the car and the little one started eating her happy meal and the chips were stone cold. And to top it off there wasn't even am attempt at an apology. Disgraceful from mc Donald's. Maby the staff should be sent to Wellington for customer service training. So much...
