McDonald's Havelock North — Restaurant in North Island

Guys, you need to do better! Have been twice over the course of past few weeks. First visit, Sundaes were made first and left sitting on counter for about ten minutes while rest of meal was being made. Ordered three happy meal and had to point it out and ask for a third happy meal box as child left out would not be happy. Just slow and unorganised.

Second visit was really disappointing. Restaurant had about 3 tables being used, went to order and it said only take our orders could be placed. I asked a staff member what that meant and after getting over his annoyance at being communicated with he told me we could still order.

Restaurant was filthy, went to sit down in kids play area and all three tables were filthy with boxes of food and scraps on each table and all over the floor. I went out and found a staff member wiping a table, I asked if she could clear/wipe the table in the play area for us.

Watched as she went back behind counter and put cleaning stuff away! Then was chilling with another staff member . Even if she had not understood my request (though she said she would do it so maybe forgot?) why would you not be cleaning/checking all the tables? There were tables that looked like they had been sitting for a long time. Went back and had to interrupt her conversation to ask her to at least please wipe the table, said I had cleared the rubbish.

Kids play area was a sauna because evidentially the air con was broken? Amplified the gross smell of the playground equipment and astroturf that hasn’t been cleaned since the place first opened.

Chips were lukewarm due to this locations practice of leaving things sitting on the counter.

Sorry to be overly harsh but there is a line a fast food business crossed where it just becomes intolerable. Your staff need retraining or at least a supervisor that is capable of maintaining some semblance of cleanliness and even achieving a perfunctory level of...

At aprox 9.10pm 1 went inside placed an order in the machine. While doing this I heard a loud bag and laughing and someone yell stop and a girl had knocked all the bins by where the window to the drive through was. I think the bins contain the sauce etc. There was extremely loud rap type music playing which was not pleasant. The machine ran out of paper so no receipt and I explained this and the guy and girl said it didn't matter. The staff was extremely rude to another customer and to myself. The food was cold and fatty and the cheese burger and chicken burger honestly looked so swashed like it had been stomped on. The sauce was wrong. Complete waste of money and time and a very unpleasant atmosphere and appalling customer service to both the other ladies and myself. I have avoided macdonalds for a while and decide to give it a go but to walk in to laughing and loud music and congregating that made me think I had just visited the latest party location. Our cricket team has come to havelock Mcdonald’s on multiple occasions, and have not been pleased with the service and respect of one women. On a thursday night at 7pm she has been on the till twice in a row, and has been extremely rude and incompetent. One machine didn’t print receipts, and when someone went up and asked about their number she said “ well i don’t know what it is” and stood there until we walked away. She stands still and didn’t respond to our questions and even walked away when we asked question. When we asked for our forgotten nuggets and forgotten drinks she said she would make it right away, yet stood there and stared out into the abis, so another guy came and did it for us. us we stood there she gave snarky looks, rolled her here and just did not help.
