McDonald's Mana — Restaurant in North Island

Ordered drive thru 2 filet o fish and other items. Drove up the driveway, stopped to check the burgers and couldn't believe my eyes. The cheese had been slapped on the cardboard packing and not inside the burger. Talked to the manager who agreed to replace both burgers, then viewed the chips strewn all over the inside of the bag and decided to replace the entire order. While waiting for this to happen, another customer standing beside me, explained that 1/2 his order was missing when using the drive thru on another occasion. He now enters McDonald's physically, checks his order then departs. Finally my order arrives, a smart arse young girl sniggers and me and says have a great evening! Yeah right! So where was the manager with my apology. No where to be seen. Oh yeah I am Maori just like her the so called Manager on Duty! Moral of the story is to sit there check your order, if it is crap, demand a replacement; sit there and wait, thus disrupting other customers behind you who are blocked in. Then maybe McDonald's will show a bit of love when...

It is what it is. Quick drive through service. Convenient. Update 1: I recently had poor service from this branch. Seems they had an issue with stock and/or staff. The wait turned out to be approximately 20 minutes in the drive through. Hope that gets sorted out. Update 2: These guys have not learned their lesson from the last time. Saturday morning and they have eveyone waiting more than 25 minutes for orders. Stars are falling from the review. Does management not see what is happening? You have children running your shift, and not giving a cr@p whether they get anything out to customers! They even locked the doors to stop people from being able to enter their store, or to leave without assistance when they couldn't cope with the amount of orders. Came into Mana McDonalds on Sunday 6th Dec. There were two people who had ordered before me. I waited at least a good 10min before I was served. The girl doing the coffee looked frustrated as she was doing a few orders before she finally asked for mine. My order was a large black tea and 3 hash browns. It took another 10mins to do my tea then another 15mins to get my hash browns. The girl that took my order knew she had kept me waiting for a small order because she kept looking at me. I don't blame her for trying to get these orders out in a certain time frame but when you don't have enough staff to help cover the rush then you will see staff stressing, delayed orders and unhappy customers.
