McDonald's Tokoroa — Restaurant in North Island

Best Mc Donald's I've ever been to!! Considering I've been to Mc Donald's all over NZ, Australia & even Bali I have never been even close to as impressed as I was there! The staff are not only friendly but are attentive they go above and beyond what you would expect at a high end restaurant, let alone a Mc Donald's! They were fantastic!! Also, as it was also my first visit to Tokoroa. The staff there are great ambassadors for any town! And THE BEST COFFEE I HAVE EVER HAD !! I wish I had paid as much attention to them so they could get the credit for it. The young lady serving in the Mc cafe section, the young man helping her and the beautiful lady who was cleaning at the time, that's lived in Tokoroa for years. You're all amazing people. We visited 3/3/17 approximately 9:30. Thank you all again for your awesome unmatched hospitality 😊If I could I'd give 6stars...

It's mcdonalds. Wasn't where I wanted to be, but I was hungry and travelling and it was there, I made a poor choice in burger, was not my favorite, but that was not the way they made it, just should have choosen a different burger.

It was so fast between making my order and receiving it I nearly got whiplash. I dreaded opening my box to see a mess of ingredients squashed in at a rapid pace in some sorta predefined order... But alas, it was a perfectly arranged burger.

Everything that should be hot was hot. Everything that should be cold was cold.

The place was clean feeling and looking, felt very spacious for a mcdonalds. Toilets were clean.

I don't goto mcdonalds often, it's not my favorite, but I'm pretty sure I've never had chips as hot of crisp as I received that day. I never eat mcdonalds French fries, but I...

I visited this McDonald's on a recent bus trip to Auckland.

I found the restaurant over-all to be adequate, although was let down in a couple of areas.

The restaurant has very limited space given its position, which is no fault of its own, however, I found that their setup, particularly with the ordering screens didn't make a lot of sense. The lines waiting to order on the automated systems were blocked by those people in the normal lines for the counters.

The staff were also overall a bit sullen, which is disappointing having come to expect at least a smile from those that work for this chain. Possibly they were simply having a bad day.

Cleanliness was good, with tables being cleared quickly, and the floors clear of debris even with a lot of foot traffic.

If you're hungry for Maccas, I wouldn't avoid a stop to...
