Mini India Take Away — Restaurant in North Island

Ordered here off the uber eats platform as this establishment offered specific vegan options on their. Having followed a strict vegan diet for 25+ years.. seemed like a winner. From placing the order to received it was approx. 45 mins. The delivery driver knocked on door to explain I needed to call them as all dishes contained dairy. Could they not have messaged me via the uber app three quarters of an hour previous to this? I also added my own written notes to double down on the vegan factor. Can't comment on the food but 1 star purely for the customer service and their response upon contacting them on the phone as per the uber drivers say-so. Was told that 'we know it states vegan on uber, but not the case, not our fault.' Perhaps update your uber account then. Was hung up on after requesting a refund - which was successfully processed within 5 minutes after I contacted uber help - I simply stated my case with them and they agreed - I wasn't delivered what I ordered. We decided with us being local, and myself personally having tried almost every place for curry in New Plymouth, to give our closest option a chance.
