We decided to dine in at this place because of the positive reviews. We were disappointed instead. My partner's was yummy and he ate it all. Mine was a mixed Iskender the meat were good but the rice was not cooked. Raw and inedible. Ended up eating just a quarter of it. The real breaker was when a wee bird flew inside the restaurant and hopped on top of the falafel then started eating it. We tried to wait for the staff but no got no reaction from him. I ended up shooing the bird and then the staff came and asked if I am alright and was not able to notice the bird. We informed him and he said it's the first time but we doubt it. We ended up walking away after. Foood sanitation and hygiene are very important and not having covers on your food encourages birds nesting outside the shop esp the door is wide open....
Read moreUpdate April 2022: The decor has been brightened, while keeping the place warm and homely. The imported drinks have gone, but the selection is still good. Food quality is still excellent. I would rate higher if I could, as it has improved beyond the previous high standard.
Of special note, we observed the owner going above and beyond to accommodate a customer in a wheelchair.
Definitely a good choice for lunch.
