I've ordered from Domino's Kamo quite a few times. I always phone ahead with the order and they have been very good. On Tuesday 28th March it didn't go so well. I phoned at 3.30pm and got no answer. Again at 3.45pm and still they wouldn't pick up. I ended up going in to order over the counter. I told the duty manager about no one picking up but she didn't seem interested. I was the the only one in the shop so they were not busy. They got right on to my order as there were no other orders. There were three staff making the pizzas, one cleaning the main fridge and two coming and going stocking the drinks fridge. That's five staff on. Their phone started ringing and I thought, this will be interesting. It rang and rang but not one of them picked up. Then there was a gap and it rang again, still none of them picked up. All five of them ignored it. No wonder my call wasn't answered. Fair enough with they guys cooking, but the others were right there and ignored the calls. I wish I had my phone on me to record them ignoring the calls. Next time this happens, I will be filming it and exposing how bad their service is. They only deserve one star, but get two for the nice pizzas. Many people have told me the Water Street branch makes far better pizzas than Kamo. I don't know, I will have to...
Read moreMassive compliment for Tarsha who served me tonight knowing my order and name it was under. I’d had a stressful day and had just got back from AKL when we placed the order Online for our pizzas at the back in the parking lot (by my teenage son while I was tending to my screaming hungry newborn)
We ended up going home first to change baby’s nappy so I didn’t pick the pizzas up after sometime (approx 30-45mins)
So to my surprise when I arrived for pick up she knew just which order was mine as I didn’t ( my teenage son placed the order)
The only bumma was the store does not do payWave and I had rushed out of the house without my cards. Which I had to drive all the way home to get.
It was a relief I was served by someone who went the extra mile with a smile on her dial. She even offered to remake the pizzas for us which I wanted to take but couldn’t as baby was home with older brother and I knew he was grizzly after todays adventure.
Thank you so much Tarsha for the offer and just providing such great customer care and service. it made my day just that tad better knowing there are wonderful people out there.
No doubt my teenage son & I will be ordering from the store again 😊
