Brandy's Cafe — Restaurant in Papakura

Wanted to come here for awhile, unfortunately we definitely wont be returning. Lovely place but the service, workers and thier coffees/drinks are in desperate need of some proper training and english skills. We complained about our hot drinks to the lady who made them at our table, she did not speak a word or understand me what so ever. Actualy had to get up and take them to the counter and explain again she just started at me and pushed the plate of cabnet food at me we asked to be heated up.. Tried to explain to the man and he didnt look or say anything so i went back to my seat, he yells WHAT SIZE DID YOU WANT across the cafe. I said 'same size, asked if you can just top up the milk its seriously under filled and too much foam. The hot chocolate is over half foam and underfilled too' Im not sure if my order was mistaken but i definitely didnt recive a 'thickshake' it was just ice and not much flavour at all. Was difficult to say that was wrong a 3rd time after what just happend Keeping proper track of cabnet food & how long its been in there, slices were very dry and turn your pie warmer up.... If your spending close to $50 at a CAFE you'd hope thier prices mached...

If you're looking for somewhere nice and relaxed, friendly staff great food & coffee, this is the place to go!! Went for brunch today and was very pleasantly surprised!! Great flavour/seasoning, steak cooked the way I like it, even the fries were amongst the nicest I have had. Decent amount without ripping a hole in your pocket, none of these stupidly high prices for what would feed a toddler!! And if I could take a tub of their Béarnaise sauce home, I would! Am definitely going back again to try some more of their menu. Highly recommend!! Thank you for the great service food and coffee!! Till...

Every time I come here, something lets me down. Last week the pecan pie was stale. The week before, the coffee was disgusting. (cappuchino). This week, I specifically asked if they made Iced Coffee, got told yes they do. NO THEY DON'T!. I was served a glass full of chipped ice with coffee over it. I discovered it was something called a frappe & they charged $5.50 for it. Then the girl got offended when I told her it wasn't what I'd asked for. Not going back thanks. Will find another place to eat/drink - hopefully one without...
