I always email the business directly first in order to rectify an issue. Which in this case I did.... On the 20th of Oct 2021. I received an automated response to say it was received. Since then I have followed up with 3 emails and still have not had any resolution or response!
I was grossly overcharged for a meal and only realised it a two days later when a direct debit bounced.
Being drive through only, the windows need to be shut when your food is being given, and therefore have no interaction with the staff and confirmation of order/charge etc. You are not able to see the pad as you have to stretch so far out just to get your card to tap, nevermind see the amount. I understand these practices are in place for our safety and do not have an issue with it, but with this the public puts more trust into service (i.e not having the server confirm the amount).
Whether this happens on more than one occasion, who knows? Very simple to add an extra burger here or there, have someone swipe and they never realise??
Whether it was intentional or not, if a complaint comes through about having more money taken out of a customers account than agreed upon, it should be resolved immediately and not ignored! Bad quality is one thing, but this is unacceptable.
A disputes tribunal complaint will be made if this review is also overlooked and unresolved. I have been overly fair with my info provided, waiting times and polite follow ups.
Sometimes its not about the money, but about the principle.

I am pregnant and have been having bad luck with Uber eats restaurants lately as they would always have old burgers, undercooked meat or bad tasting meals that could never satisfy my take out hunger ! I am so happy that I ordered from Carls Jr as they were the first restaurant to follow my requests and deliver me the freshest, tastiest, well cooked carls catch meal !!! I am very grateful for their service and their personal note left on a napkin stating that everything was fresh, to enjoy my day & to enjoy a complimentary chicken burger that was also fresh and delicious ! I will never forget how kind and thoughtful as well as generous that was. It really made my day and satisfied the pregnancy craving I couldnโt itch for so long ! Thank you to the team that day ! I truly appreciate it and will continue being a grateful customer ๐๐๐ผ can I also add that the service has been amazingly improved as I live local and am quite frequent to Carls Jr Takanini and have definitely noticed how dedicated and improved the team has become. I said I asked for freshly cooked meat and the Indian tried to tell me they were. I asked for more and I seen them being made and they werenโt fresh. He said sorry and said he would make fresh ones. They then proceeded to give us more that had been sitting on the edge of the grill for the last 5 minutes and although they were hotter than the last they were so dry and they were unacceptable. If anyone paid $26.90 for burgers, then got served sub standard dry food Iโd expect them to be upset as well. Less than impressed by the quality as it never used to be like this.
