All previous visits have been good however, the last visit on Wednesday 16th March 2022 left me feeling quite underwhelmed. The person taking the order didn’t know how to operate the till and it could be because that’s not his primary duty as it appeared they were short staffed due to COVID.

Anyway, I ordered mushroom on toast which I was thinking was going to be creamy mushroom. I ended up getting grilled mushroom on toast. Advised the person this is not what I was after and he’s response was this is what I had ordered! I felt he should have given me the option of whether I was after grilled or creamy mushroom rather than deciding for himself. Last Sunday 21st January I took my husband for lunch to the Pizza box and ordered an open stack sandwich. I have told the waitress who took my order that I wanted my steak to be cooked rear. When I received the dish it was nicely presented but when I started eating my meal the steak was raw , very salty and not what I have ordered. I have noticed also that the chips had a greyish appearance and I was puzzled why it was that colour. I have called one of the waitress to the table and asked how that steak was cooked. And to my surprise it had been cooked in the oven and not pan fried. Of all my years dining in a restaurant I have never been had a steak cooked that way. Staff are very friendly and food was nicely presented. Me and my fiance had shared a seafood platter which was plenty for two equalling $30, I wasn't full though but I'm quite a big eater. We ordered sticky date pudding for a dessert, the portion was quite small for the price but it was quality in taste. The only let down for me was that the bathroom was in a state where there was brown on the wall (you know what that was cos it STANK). On the way back to my table, bark and dirt was on the floor from one of their indoor plants and it just reminded me of the state of the bathroom.
