The Gallery Japanese & Cafe — Restaurant in Rodney

I have never been a big sushi fan as I do not like seaweed too much but my partner does. The times I have eaten there I have enjoyed my food and they have a nice selection of tasty food to treat yourself to and they even sell alcohol for all of you that like to drink during your lunchtime meal or during a little team meeting. The staff there have always been friendly and you can tell they genuinely care when they remember you and what you order.

Can reccomended if you are looking for a nice relaxing...

stopped in for dinner on our way home from watching the ALL BLACKS and i must say the owners are absolutely beautiful people, food was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was so peaceful and friendly i would highly recommend the food was delicious and will definitely be back. this place is a must especially if you get into photography aswell the owners both have some awsome photography work on display on the walls and in a few published books our whanau throughly...

Sadly terrible bento boxes for diner. We have been before but really gone down hill.

Mostly packet fried items that you would expect at a cheep food hall for lunch and expensive at $33 for a box where the only recognisable Japanese items were two small pieces of sushi.

Sad as the staff are nice - just seem to be substituting low cost items and cutting corners.
