Crispy and Sip, Korean Fried Chicken — Restaurant in South Island

Very much enjoyed the meals my partner and i had on a Saturday afternoon for lunch, We had the 12pc Fried 🍗Wings with BBQ Dust and a Fried Chicken Bento 🍱 bowl 🍜. The Wings were cooked to perfection: Crispy (*Like the Name Said) Crunchy Hot and Spicy 🔥, Moist and tender. Served with a little bowl of Kimchi on the side and myself I got a side of a Rice 🍚 Bowl too. My partner's Bento was Full of flavor and flavors Chicken 🍗, jalapeno 🌶️, beans 🫛. We enjoyed it all with a refreshing cold drink of Lemon,Lime and Mint 🍋🌿🍋‍🟩 (*Virgin Mojito 😂). We ended our meal with a quick takeaway of their 6pc Rice cakes with PeriPeri Mayo, which would have gone amazing with the meal but had just forgotten to order it at the beginning 😆

My partner and I thought we would try this place out. Our 1st time trying Korean chicken and man ohh man it was sooo good 😋. We had the 3 x drums and 3 x nibbles and added some chips 🍟 with a savory sauce with garlic drizzled over them. Sauce was yummy as also. Only problem we had was, that it was served in a pizza looking box which was ok but the sauce dribbled out of the corner of box and down my leg on the travel home which is in the same township. Lovely little shop, beautifully cooked chicken, although could do with a hit of flavor. Chips a wee bit over seasoned. Perfectly chilled beer and very nice, although small restaurant. If you were to compare this to KFC, you would give KFC a -10 and crispy and sip 100.
